What is MindSay?
Blog PublishingUsers update their blog through a Web interface and popular instant messaging clients. Privacy options enable users to publish entries to specific groups within their social networks, such as friends, family, or co-workers. |
Social NetworkUsers establish profiles containing biographical information and optional details about a wide range of subjects from career and school to musical preferences and favorite movies. They can then find other users and blogs through their personal and professional networks.
TagsUsers can assign keywords (tags) to each blog entry. In turn, that blog entry is grouped with other entries that share similar Tags, making it easy for users to find blogs about specific interests. |
MindSay InboxEach user has their own Inbox featuring one-click access to the most recent blog updates of users in their social network, new comments they have received on their blog, and notification of new people in their network.
Geographic Directory SearchUsers can search by zip code to find MindSay users from a specific location. Results include blog entries of users from within a specified radius of the queried zip code. |
MindSay Top BlogsUsers can vote for blog entries they find compelling as they are browsing MindSay. Votes are tallied in real-time and users can browse the most popular entries over a given time period, such as the past 24 hours or 7 days. |
|
MindSay WikiMindSay wiki pages let you find people with similar interests - then create an ongoing, interactive web page dedicated to that interest where anyone can contribute. |
RSS SupportMindSay makes many features available in RSS format. In addition to syndicating each individual blog through RSS, the MindSay Inbox also offers its own feed, enabling users to keep up with their social network's blog updates all from one feed. Users can also track specific interests by adding feeds from their favorite MindSay Tags into their RSS readers. |
